Film Tip: „Dear Enemy - The Journey of Bashir“

Four years ago, director Arne Totz from the Munich film production Friends & Fellows came across the story of blind boxer Bashir Ramathan. He immediately knew that he wanted to make a short film about Bashir and his story in one of the slums of Kampala, Uganda. After four years of hard work, the film "Dear Enemy - The Journey of Bashir" was released on Vimeo and has since received several prestigious awards (such as the Berlin Commercial Film Award or the Vimeo Staff Pick Award).

There are many sports that are supported by the international or European blind sports associations - boxing is not one of them. Bashir's dream is to inspire blind people around the world to start boxing. Arne Totz's short film would like to support him in this goal and make the topic better known.
