Behind the scenes

  • With bebob V150 batteries in the Swiss Mountains...

This summer we received a request from Niels Herrmann, owner of the film production Apparillo. He was preparing the shootings of a film for a charitable Caritas project in the Swiss mountains. The biggest problem for the shooting was "the electricity question" - after all, sockets in the Swiss mountains are rather rare... Of course we could and wanted to support this project! For the shooting, the Canon C200 and a SmallHD monitor were used. Apparillo had chosen four of our V150 V-Mount batteries for their power supply, together with the COCO-15V III battery plate. We are very happy abo...Read More
  • HIGHER GROUND - bebob batteries at the Mont Blanc

The timelapse film "HIGHER GROUND" by cameraman and filmmaker Flo Nick demonstrates with spectacular shots how breathtakingly beautiful the mighty mountain landscape around Chamonix - Mont Blanc is. Everyone who sees the film can imagine that the shooting conditions were extremely strenuous. The complete film equipment had to be carried many hundreds of meters in altitude and through masses of snow, besides Flo Nick was on his own most of the time. With him: some of our V-Mount batteries and a VS2 charger to power the setup. The film was made with a Sony A7sII and an A7II, which were us...Read More

  • Perfect for long outdoor shootings: Our V290RMcine batteries

Recently our V290RMcine batteries participated once again in an exciting project of the Munich University for Television and Film (HFF). With their strong outdoor capabilities, they helped to realize the film "Bleib! (AT)" by directing student An Nguyen and camera student Moritz Dehler. The dramatic story takes place in the forest for the most part - and therefore had to be shot on four of five days in the field, far away from the usual power supply possibilities. Our V290RMcine could show their strengths to the full... "We are very grateful that Bebob supported us with three of their V290...Read More
  • Anything but a "bad choice"...

While the body of the jogger lies in the trunk, a nerve-racking play begins between the two... The ambitious project was filmed during four nights in the Forstenrieder Park near Munich.
