bebob Introduces New Battery Adapters

Uninterrupted Shooting and Extended Battery Life for a Wide Range of Cameras, Monitors, and Camcorders

Munich, May 19, 2026. Following the success of its MLmicro hot-swap battery, bebob is now enhancing the product family with a new version of its unique adapter solution: the MLmicro, originally launched as a robust metal adapter for V-Mount cameras, is now available in a lightweight and cost-efficient edition. Furthermore, bebob is introducing the Coco-A2BP-U and Coco-V2BP-U adapters, which enable BP-U cameras (e.g. Sony FX6 or Blackmagic models) to be powered via Amicro or Vmicro batteries—offering production teams flexible and reliable power solutions for mixed camera setups.

MLmicro – Now Available in a Lightweight and Cost-Effective Version

The MLmicro is a highly versatile 43 Wh / 14.4 V battery, featuring hot-swap and buffer functionality along with a wide range of output options. It powers V-Mount cameras while simultaneously supporting various accessories, enabling uninterrupted battery changes for cameras, monitors, and other equipment during operation. This makes it particularly well suited for modern cameras that lack additional power outputs for accessories, such as the Fuji Eterna and similar systems. While the original MLmicro adapter was designed as a metal-based solution, the new version is constructed from a durable composite material—retaining the proven reliability of its predecessor. Users benefit from the same intelligent functionality in a lighter, more cost-effective form factor.

Coco-A2BP-U and Coco-V2BP-U – Powering BP cameras with Amicro and Vmicro Batteries

The new Coco-A2BP-U and Coco-V2BP-U adapters enable BP-U cameras (such as the Blackmagic Pyxis and a wide range of Sony camcorders, including the new Z300) and additional gear to be powered via Amicro or Vmicro batteries. These adapters are ideal for productions that work with mixed camera systems, rental houses looking to standardize power solutions, and crews who need extended battery life for uninterrupted operation during long shoots. Featuring an adjustable height design that accommodates a variety of devices, these adapters solve compatibility issues with ease.

Equipped with versatile interfaces including…

  • 2x Twist D-Tap; unregulated battery voltage (10V – 16,8V)
  • 2x USB-A outputs with a combined power of 15W
  • 1x USB-C socket with quick charge 4+ (60W) output
  • 1x USB-C socket with PD3.0 (36W) charge input

… they power not just the camera but other equipment simultaneously.

Compact, robust, and easy to integrate, the Coco-V2BP-U and Coco-A2BP-U ensure BP cameras can seamlessly join Amicro and Vmicro workflows while providing reliable, professional-grade power wherever it’s needed.
